Born in Wales, Nathan left London for Portugal in 2020.
Now based in Porto, recent work includes shooting locally for Zara, collaborating with acclaimed winemaker Dirk Niepoort on a book project, and developing a character-led 35mm campaign for PEACE.
Alongside the photography, he has over twenty years of experience as a Lighting Director, working across international campaigns and editorial projects with leading photographers and filmmakers including David Sims, Mikael Jansson, Gordon Von Steiner, and Stuart Winecof.
Nathan has collaborated closely with Steven Meisel and his team, operating as on-set photographer across several campaigns directed remotely under Meisel’s creative lead.
More than twenty years into his career, he remains deeply immersed in film, photography, and lighting, having worked across almost every continent.
